Talk to us

Prices are before VAT. We do not add VAT today. If that changes, we tell you before the next bill. A year up front is two months free. One shop is £790 for the year. We load the first till file with you. Setup is £99 once, and free for those same first 10 shops. After the trial we invoice you. Paying by card in the app is not ready yet.

Estimate

What a shortage can cost.

An illustration based on the assumptions below, not your live till. Once your till is connected we use your real tickets.

Cash shortage / over£150

Money lost on low prices and freebies (a guess at 1.5% of sales)£225

Cash = what you pick for short or over each night × tills × 30 days. Low prices and freebies = a guess of 1.5p in every £1 of sales × 30 days. Year = monthly × 12.

Illustration: about 7 days to cover the £79 a month, if these assumptions were true for your shop and you acted on what TillTalk shows you. Spotting a loss does not recover it by itself. Not a promise.

Where the 1.5% comes from

Not stolen notes. Mix that pays too little. We count 1.5p in every pound of sales — three small bits of about 0.5p each: price still too low on the till; extras given away; a line that does not cover the food. This 1.5p is our own working assumption, not a measured figure, and it is not this shop’s till. When the till is connected, we use tonight’s tickets. Cash is separate: you pick £5, £15 or £30 a day, per till, times tills, times 30 days.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Will it work with my till?

Yes if your till can save a CSV file — that works today. Links to Epos Now, Zettle, Square and Lightspeed are being tested. Tell us your till and we'll set it up with you.

Do I need to give TillTalk my Deliveroo or Uber Eats passwords?

No. If your delivery orders reach your till, they count. We do not connect to Deliveroo or Uber Eats directly, and we never ask for your passwords.

Do I need extra hardware on the counter?

No. Connect your till, then see reports in the app on your phone. Use it in your browser today. Android and iPhone apps are coming soon. You can also Add to Home Screen.

Can staff see sales and profit?

No. Only linked owner and manager phones get money numbers.

Who sets it up?

We do, with you, in one short visit. You approve the phones. The setup fee is on this page.

How much is more than one shop?

2 to 9 shops are £69 a shop a month. 10 to 29 are £59. 30 or more starts at £49 a shop. One bill. The owner sees every shop in one list and opens each shop. Each shop still has its own screen. A combined target, and questions across shops, are not ready.

Is there a setup fee?

Loading the first till file with you is £99 once. It is free for those same first 10 shops. The 14-day trial is still free, and still needs no card.

Do you add VAT?

Prices are before VAT. We do not add VAT today. If that changes, we tell you before the next bill.

When do I pay?

The first 14 days are free. No card. After that we invoice you each month. You can pay for a year up front and get two months free. A year paid up front is not refunded if you leave during the year. Paying by card in the app is not ready yet.

Can the first shops lock a lower price?

Yes. The first 10 shops get £49 a month for 12 months and free setup. Then the normal price. One shop each. Ask us. We need your till file in before the trial ends.

How long does setup take?

Link the shop phone and the till. We aim to run your first till check the same night.

Does TillTalk track staff like an HR app?

No. This is labour cost control, not HR. We draft shift demand from the till. You approve the rota before it is shared.

How does the rota work if you do not guess tomorrow's sales?

We draft it from what the till took on the same weekday in recent weeks. You approve it. We never send it to staff before you do.

Do I have to use WhatsApp to use TillTalk AI?

No. The app on your phone works today. WhatsApp is planned. The same link opens on a tablet or laptop if you prefer. To open the web app you type your mobile number and a 6-number shop code we give you in person.

What is the app?

Use it in your browser today. Android and iPhone apps are coming soon.

Where do the tips come from?

This shop's till — today and in the past. We also look at local weather and a calendar of festival days like Eid, Diwali and Ramadan. Public UK news can add a stock tip, such as a government stock-up list. Then we tell you what to sell, what to charge, who to have on, and what to prep. We do not guess tomorrow's sales.

How does TillTalk protect shop data?

Each shop is kept separate. Traffic is encrypted. Only linked phones can ask about that shop. TillTalk staff only look at your shop’s data to support you or fix a fault. Our AI providers do not use your till data to train their models under their business API terms.
