Lightspeed
These steps are for Lightspeed Retail (X-Series). Export Sales history as a CSV.
We read Lightspeed’s X-Series help on 29 Oct 2026. We have not tried the clicks on a real till. If your screen does not show Sell and Sales history, you have a different Lightspeed. Email us a photo of the menu. We have not written those clicks.
- 1In Retail POS, go to Sell, then Sales history.
- 2Set the dates. Lightspeed’s help says Date can sit under More filters.
- 3Click Search.
- 4Click Export List. That downloads a CSV.
- 5If one export is not enough, split the dates and export again. Lightspeed says Sales history export stops at 1,000 sales.
Good to know
- You can also open the Reporting tab, choose Sales report, and click Export report. That file can be CSV or Excel.
- A long barcode (SKU) can change in a CSV. If that happens, export the sales report as Excel and send that, plus a note.
- Voided sales can be in the Sales history file. Send it anyway.

We load it for you. A CSV file works today. We do not log in to your till.
Send as many days as the till will give you. Do not send card numbers.
When you have another week of sales, send that file the same way.
